Property Damage at Kratz Field

Hello Residents.
 
Last week, mid day, there was a kid, he looks to be around 10-12 years old and was driving a golf cart on Kratz Field. He Was doing circles around the bench near the playground. He hit the bench and damaged the bench. This bent one of the support bars and popped off one of the bench slats. This happened while some of his friends where playing on/near the basketball court. See pictures of the damage below.

This is from the Ogden Dunes Police Department:
 
Golf Carts are NOT to be driven outside of town limits. This includes the frontage road, Portage Lakefront and Riverwalk, Hwy 12, Marina Shores and the South Shore parking lots. You can be ticketed if you take your golf cart outside Ogden Dunes.
 
A golf cart driver must be at least 16 years old and hold a valid driver’s license. Golf cart drivers are required to carry their driver's license and insurance card when the cart is in operation on Ogden Dunes streets.
 
You must have a current 2024 Golf Cart permit to operate a golf cart on the streets and to park within the restricted parking areas. Please remove previous year’s stickers, Officers will not search your Golf Cart for a current permit. If permits are not placed correctly, you can be ticketed. Tickets carry a fine of $200 for each violation
