Street / Water Department

The Street / Water Department is responsible for managing various services for residents. Some of the duties of the Department include the following:

• Maintain Town's Motor Pool

• Snow & Ice Control

• Street Sweeping

• Brush & Leaf Collection

• General Street Maintenance (Crack Sealing, Street Repairs, Sidewalks, Manholes, Drywells)

• Sign Maintenance

• Mowing & Policing of Right-of-Way

• Installing & Reading Town Water Meters

• Inspection Of Town Fire Hydrants

• Maintaining Booster Pump Station 

• Following All State Required Water Testing Guidelines

• Maintenance Of Water Distribution System

This is accomplished with a crew of two people and part-time help when needed.

The Street / Water Department also conducts an annual heavy trash pick-up for one week during the Spring and Fall. These pick-ups allows the community to put out items that are not picked up on the regular trash route.

The Street / Water Department staff is very diligent in running their department and are here to serve the citizens of Ogden Dunes.
